What makes the Tour De France of 1985 special?.... It was the year of the last French winner, Bernard Hinault. A 35 year long hiatus. Hinault was famously nicknamed 'Le Blaireau' (The Badger) due to the animal's aggressive nature, a trait that Hinault displayed by the team bus load. Le Blaireau never took a backward step when racing. When cornered - he attacked. So our 2nd espresso blend honours the patron, Bernard Hinault. It's a Brazilian and Colombian blend, well balanced but (like Hinault) packs a punch. Think dark chocolate and red fruit sweetness. Available in 250gm packs, either whole bean or pre-ground.
