This tee celebrates Lo Squalo di Messina (The Shark of Messina), Vincenzo Nibali. One of the classiest riders of his generation with an equally classy palmares. Nibali is one of only 7 cyclists to have won all three Grand Tours - La Vuelta in 2010, Il Giro twice in 2013 & 2016, and Le Tour in 2014. His 2014 Tour victory included 4 stage victories - stage 2 into Sheffield (after the grandest of Grand Departs!), and mountain top victories on stage 10 at La Planche de Belles Filles, stage 13 into Chamrousse, and stage 18 into Hautacam. His winning margin was 7 mins 39 seconds - the largest since Jan Ullrich in 1997. He also had a penchant for the Italian monuments winning Il Lombardia twice, and in 2018 pulling off a sensational victory at Milan - San Remo with a customary attack on the Poggio and a break-neck descent holding off the peloton by mere metres.
