Our Napoli tee... Napoli has a deep and historic connection with the Giro D'Italia dating back to the inaugural 1909 race. The capital of the Campania region in southern Italy featured in that first Giro, has hosted the Grande Partenza twice (1963, 2013) and has hosted a stage finish 46 times. In recent years it's been a staple feature in the Giro route with stage finishes in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and again this year 2026. Tranquillo were lucky enough to be there watching roadside in both 2022 (Thomas De Gendt won from a breakaway) and 2024 Olav Kooij winning from a bunch sprint), both times spectating on the beautiful Monte Di Procida to the west of the city. Looking further back Cav won there in 2013 and was presented his maglia rosa by his great friend and cycling enthusiast Sir Paul Smith (who had designed the leaders' jerseys that year), Italian favourite Francesco Moser won a time trial there wearing the maglia rosa in 1974, and the great Eddy Merckx celebrated his first Giro title there in 1968 when Napoli hosted the final stage. Our tee celebrates Napoli as a Giro host and as a breathtaking city in it's own right, a juxtaposition of ancient streets swarming with modern life. Our tee is DTF printed on 100% cotton.
